Obtaining effective characteristics of inhomogeneous viscoelastic bodies
An approximate approach is presented to obtaining the effective mechanical characteristics of elastic bodies as well as time-effective modules of viscoelastic bodies. The suggested method is based on the formulation of some extremal problems for the functionals of potential energies associated with the physical relations of the studied media. Integral inequalities have been constructed providing bilateral estimates of the functionals of the specific strain energies calculated on the exact and approximate solutions of the viscous elasticity problems. A test example is given.
