Construction of effective cover models for monitoring of lengthy objects

We consider the problem of least density cover of a stripe by disks of a single, double and triple radii. New regular covers were proposed. The developed methods and obtained results can be used as a tool for energy efficient monitoring of lengthy objects by wireless sensor networks.
