Man-induced environmental risks: monitoring, management and remediation of man-made changes in Siberia
Overview of the FP6 INCO Co-ordination Action project Enviro-RISKS (Man-induced Environmental Risks: Monitoring, Management and Remediation of Man-made Changes in Siberia) and its state of the art is briefly described. Special attention is paid to thematic focuses of this activity and the first obtained results, in particular, recently launched Enviro-RISKS web portal ( http://risks.scert.ru/) as the core element of the targeted networking of key players in environmental studies and applications.
