Sensitivity of the atmospheric temperature and humidity retrievals to the spectral resolution of the contemporary IR-radiometers
In this work the main radiation transfer processes at the atmosphere were taken into account in the numerical experiments. The altitude dependence of the derivatives of the parameters to retrieve is studied for a number of channels (Jacobean), which defines the sensitivity of retrievals to measurements. Then simulations of the instruments were applied to explore the retrievals accuracy sensitivity to the spectral resolution.
