Meso-scale precipitation structure of a cold front by X-band radar data
Spatial features of the precipitation field on a cold front are studied on the base of X-band radar data. Meso-scale structures of high intensity rain are identified. The mass and energy characteristics of these structures are few times higher than average frontal values.
