Predictor-corrector scheme preserving hydraulic jump
An explicit predictor-corrector difference scheme of the second order of approximation for solution of the one-dimensional nonlinear shallow water equations is considered, which yields nonoscillatory profiles of numerical solutions under the special choice of approximating viscosity. It is shown that the considered scheme preserves a stationary hydraulic jump for calculations using a uniform grid, and it preserves a moving jump when adaptive grids are used.
