On interval problems, interval algorithms and resource consumption of their solution
In this methodological study the formalization of the concept of the interval (localization) problem is suggested and the general properties of the interval problems and algorithms are discussed from the viewpoint of their resource consumption The concept of sequentially (successively) guaranteeing algorithm, recently suggested as a reasonable compromise between the requirements guaranteed correctness of the interval result and obtaining it over the reasonably acceptable time is extended to the general interval (localization) problems.
