Siberia integrated regional study development
Briefly described are actions aimed at Siberia Integrated Regional Study (SIRS) development, which were undertaken by the initiative group after the INTAS 2004 Workshop "Towards integrated interdisciplinary study of the Northern Eurasia Climatic Hotspots" till the dedicated Work Group at this Conference as well as its Conclusions. Special emphasis is done on short term activity required to initiate SIRS officially as apart of the Earth System Science Partnership.
