Investigation of sensitivity of the Hydrometcenter AGCM to the growth of CO2 in experiments with SST from the coupled ocean-atmosphere model
Sensitivity of the global air temperature to the increased concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the HMC general circulation model was analyzed. Concentration was increased by 1 % per year. The SST was set according to the results of the same experiment with the IVM RAN coupled atmosphere-ocean model. Sensitivity of the average global air temperature in HMC model is 0.9 K and it is equal to that of the IVM RAN model. In general, sensitivity of the air temperature is lower in the HMC model than in some foreign models.
