Explicit unconditionally stable difference method for calculating fluid flows
An explicit unconditionally stable difference method is considered in which in order to calculate fluid flow in the compression area an explicit difference method is employed with the Courant stability condition, and for the calculation of the characteristics in the rarefaction area an explicit unconditionally stable difference method is used based on an alternating pattern depending on the time step A new definition of implicit and explicit schemes for the system of conservation laws is given. The examples showing the efficiency of the suggested system are discussed.
