Informational resources and web technologies for environmental sciences
General properties of information resources (IR) and the structure of information-computational systems (ICS) are described. Particular features of IR and ICS for environmental sciences are highlighted. One of the websites of the ATMOS web portal is an example illustrating a practical application of internet technologies.
