Intranet of scientific institution
The design and software realization of the information system oriented to the support of scientific and managerial activities in a scientific organization on the example of the Institute of Atmospheric Optics of SB RAS. The majority of the Intranet subsystems are the full-scale Internet applications. The data for these applications is stored in the distributed databases. The database administration and information retrieval are realized using the Internet technologies. The Intranet software (version 3,0) is unified and documented (ftp://ftp.iao.ru/pub/intranet).
