Numerical modelling of dynamics of local density perturbation in shear flow of linearly stratified fluid
Calculation algorithm for unsteady stratified flows using Euler-Langrangian coordinate system is presented. Numerical modelling of flow generated by local density perturbation in linear shear flow of linearly stratified fluid is done. Calculation results show the significant distortion of wave pattern by shear flow.
