Stratospheric aerosol observations from a lidar network
A network of lidars is a useful tool for the study of global, long-term changes in stratospheric aerosol loading. IROE lidar database collects stratospheric observations performed in northern and southern hemispheres. Lidar observations are stored both in IROE and in NDSC and NILU databanks. The climatology results are useful for climate research.
