Algorithms for the solution of the problem of laser pulse interaction with plasma
Two-dimensional and three-dimensional algorithms for the solution of the problem of laser pulse interaction with plasma are considered. The full kinetic model for plasma description is used. The problem is solved by the particle-in-cell (PIC) method. Several approaches to parallel realization of the algorithm with various degrees of processor units loading are investigated. The results of the modelling are presented.
