Numerical algorithm for modelling three-dimensional flows of an incompressible fluid using moving grids

The numerical method for solving the equations governing flows of the three-dimensional incompressible fluid on fixed grids, which was previously developed by the authors, is now generalized to the case of moving grids. The algorithm exactly satisfies the Geometric Conservation Law, which is one of the main conditions in discretization of the time dependent equations written in curvilinear coordinates. Solutions to the typical problems with moving boundaries are presented showing the effectiveness of the constructed method.
