On an algorithm for surface waves calculation within the framework of nonlinear dispersive model with a movable bottom
A partitioning of the fully nonlinear dispersive equations allowing for bottom movement is carried out. A finite-difference algorithm for solving the partitioned system is described. On the basis of comparisons with the classical shallow water model and the potential flow model, the importance of accounting of dispersion properties in the considered problems is discussed.
