Symbolic numerical calculations of the normal form, integral of motion and Poincare sections for the conservative two-dimensional Hamiltonian systems

A brief description of the developed Maple 8 algorithms for symbolic numerical calculations of the normal form and formal (approximated) integrals of motion by the Birkhoff-Gustavson method for Hamiltonian systems with any degrees of freedom is presented. Poincare sections obtained using the approximated integral of motion and the ones calculated by direct numeric method are compared. It is shown that there is a good agreement between both results in energy domain where classical motion is regular.
