One approach to the numerical simulation of shock-free strong compression of specific gas volumes
In this paper we consider a numerical simulation of a shock-free compression of an ideal polytropic gas to any desired density. The calculations are carried out in reverse and forward time change. Compression rate obtained in calculations was 103 - 104 times
