In this work, the model introduced by Konev E.V., which calculates the propagation speed of the contour of a forest fire is numerically implemented. User environment developed in ArcView GIS 3.õ allows processing the results of the computational model as well as visualizing the results on forecasting of the emergence and spread of the forest fires
