Determination of the point of intersection between the solution and the surface of discontinuity is an important step in solving systems of ordinary differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side. The existence of the solution for this step is considered. An algorithm for computing the intersection point is suggested. The convergence of numerical method is proven. The results of computational experiments for linear and nonlinear surfaces of discontinuity are presented.
