Simulation of nonreflecting conditions for the numerical solution of elasticity problems
Simulated and investigated in the paper are the conditions on artificial boundaries of the calculated area, which describe the passing of shock waves without reflection on these boundaries. The problem of forming such conditions arises when solving a number of elasticity problems, where the domain of the unknown function is a half-plane. Making use of the finite-difference methods necessitates the limitation of integrating domain by the external artificial boundaries on which the conditions should be created that simulate the absence of the reflecting effect.
