Electronic atlas ``Biological variety of the Siberian flora``
The paper is devoted to the studies carried out by the ICT SB RAS and Central Siberian Botanical Garden of the SB RAS (CSBG RAS) aimed at the development of an electronic library Electronic Atlas ``Biological Variety of the Siberian Flora" providing access through the {Internet} to the data arrays, materials and collections of the CSBG RAS. The objective of the electronic library is to systematize and organize wide access to the diversified information on biological variety of the Siberian plant life based on the up-to-date informational technologies. General approaches to the systematization and preservation of diversified botanical and environmental information and the problems of integrating the system into the geoinformational system (GIS) are discussed.
