An analytical solution of one model of a viscous liquid motion induced by wind
An analytical solution for stationary model of the wind motion of a viscous homogeneous liquid in the closed basin (motion only at the vertical plain) is found. It is proposed that the bottom of the basin is flat, and the coefficient of the vertical turbulent exchange is either constant or it varies linearly or exponentially with depth. The obtained solutions are compared with known solutions for the Ekman type model without horizontal viscosity, so it makes possible to determine the application area for this simpler model. One can apply the obtained solution to test the computational algorithms of the wind induced fluid motion.
