Parallel FVTD for solving Maxwell's equations in anisotropic nanostructured media

Paper presents an effective FVTD method for modelling of the electromagnetic phenomena in metamaterials - artificial nanostructured media. FVTD is parallelized for HPC with the help of the domain decomposition approach. The method is modified for accurate modelling of complex composite media (such as most of metamaterials). These techniques are demonstrated on numerical modelling of emph{hyperlens} - strongly anisotropic metamaterial device that allows to overcome the diffraction limit of conventional optical imaging.
