Optimization of multiregime design for the runner of a hydro turbine
A generalization of the automatic design system for the Francis turbine runner for the case of a multi-regime optimization has been presented. During the process of optimization, the characteristics of the 3D flow field are simultaneously improving for several operation regimes. A new parametric definition and objective functionals of the runner are considered. The results of automatic optimal design for the Sangtusinsk hydropower plant runner are presented.
