Regularization of the method of lines with a high (computer) precision with examples on hydrodynamics of ideal fluid with a free boundary
We consider a realization of the lines method for numerical solution of evolution equations under the conditions of a high (computer defined) precision. We develop an effective algorithm of the lines method, which allows us to perform numerical calculations even in the case when the standard method turns to be unstable. We consider the examples of a successful application of the proposed approach for solutions of important hydrodynamics problems.
