Numerical simulation of viscous incompressible fluid flows with free boundaries by the Natural Element Method
This work addresses problems of continuous mechanics for a medium with free boundaries using the Natural Element Method. A brief description of the method is given. A scheme for temporal evolution is considered. Results of numerical calculations of test problems and a numerical solution for the problem of a dam collapse in the case of a fluid layer on its base are considered.
