A parallel realization of the numerical algorithms for the 3D simulation of transient processes in gravitating gas systems with self-consistent field in Cartesian coordinates is considered. The evolution of rotating gas is described by a system of gas dynamics equations and the Poisson equation for the gravitational potential. This paper contains a detailed analysis of the contribution of each part of the algorithm into the total calculation time. The main characteristics of the parallel algorithm are presented.
